They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2:42
The ministry of men in the local church is defined as a core group of men, partnering with their pastor, to invite and initiate spiritual growth opportunities for all men of the church. Everyone has different gifts, graces and areas of interest. Therefore, opportunities for participation would include diverse ministries of the church, such as prayer groups, missions, Bible studies, retreats, workshops/seminars, small groups in the Wesleyan tradition, leading and participating on committees, teaching Sunday school classes, youth ministries, scouting, mentoring and assisting in leading worship service. The focus is not inward, concentrating only on those who attend a set meeting, but outward to all men, assisting them to engage the process of spiritual growth. We invite you to join us at our monthly breakfast fellowships.
United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Out of the Purpose are four mission foci that relate to the mission initiatives and priorities of United Methodist Women. To be a community of women To know God To develop a creative and supportive fellowship To expand concepts of mission We invite you to join us for our monthly fellowship circle gatherings.
Parents with young children can be hectic at times. We enjoy gathering together and going out as a group in fellowship while are children are cared for by our loving church family. Sometimes we relax with a meal together while other times we might go and enjoy an activity one evening. We invite you to join us on our next adventure in fellowship.
